Chris SeitzVancouver’s goal was not at all his fault. Camilo Sanvezzo’s strike was indeed a good one. The backup did his job when he needed to. It was also good to see that he is fairly decent with distributing the ball out of the back.Game Grade: 7

Zach Loyd He did a decent job as usual. He certainly helped FCD get offensive and often offered more than his attacking teammates. Game Grade: 6

George John Not too bad of an outing for the center back. He had a few stoppages, but he could have made a few better distribution decisions – but then again, he wasn’t alone in that category. Game Grade: 6

Ugo Ihemelu The captain continued to impress with his athleticism and his improved ability to anticipate and react. I will partially blame the goal on a series of poorly-headed clearances, with more than one of them being from Ihemelu himself. Game Grade: 6

Carlos RodriguezI think he has had better games as a right mid. He lost the ball several times because he took too many touches. He marked well, but a little slow on the ball. Game Grade: 5

Daniel Hernandez I thought he started the game well, so I kind of stopped watching him. However, upon further review, he didn’t really offer his team much offensively or defensively. Much like many of you, I am quite disturbed by his poor set-piece deliveries. It doesn’t really take long to figure out why this team is racking up injuries. Game Grade: 5

Bobby WarshawI don’t really know where to start with the second-year player. I was impressed a few times with some fancy turns and inventive ways to maintain possession. I think he’s got to realize the importance of winning his ball back immediately after losing it, though. Game Grade: 5.5

Bruno GuardaThe former SMU man didn’t get much right in this one. I thought he spent far too much time doing a poor job of defending instead of doing a good job of helping with his team’s attack. I feel like I saw Loyd in the mix much more often… inexcusable. Game Grade: 4.5

Brek SheaIt was good to see him do just about anything he wanted with the exceptions of bury a goal or two. It happens to the best of them, but he’s got to show more composure with a good look on goal from 7 yards out Bury that thing, Brek! Game Grade: 7.5 (Man of the Match)

Fabian CastilloHas he never received the class on what to do when he manages to get in the box after beating four defenders? Can I or any of our well-educated Big D Soccer readers take him to the side with maybe a chalkboard and some DVR replays? Game Grade: 5

Blas PerezI understand his desire to help his center midfielders out defensively, but in a lone-striker formation, he can’t burn too much energy doing that. He was virtually invisible several times when he was needed. Short answer for that would be implanting a capable center attacking mid behind him… somebody maybe named David Ferreira. Game Grade: 6
