Getting crunched for time on these so we're going to double up on this one. Brek Shea & David Ferreira are two huge parts of the FC Dallas offense this season. Brek Shea is becoming somewhat of a known commodity and that is being arguably the most dangerous left winger in the league. You simply can't defend him 1v1 and towards the end of 2011 teams put two and three defenders on him routinely.
The only problem with Shea is he will likely miss as many as 8 games due to international competition and there is the question of will Shea be at 100% for the games he is in Dallas once the rigors of World Cup Qualifying begin.
David Ferreira has shown very well in the limited time he's gotten this pre-season and the ankle does not seem to be an issue, but he has picked up a nagging achillies injury and is reportedly 50/50 for opening day. Will get get to 100% this season? Does he even need to be at 100% to be one of the top attacking midfielders in the league? Ferreira has some great weapons at his disposal and the best forward he's ever played with in Dallas.
Have your say in the comments and be sure to differentiate your predictions between the two players. Goals/Assists/Starts
