Tonight at FC Dallas Stadium, the USA U23 Olympic Squad comprehensively defeated the Mexico U23 Olympic Squad 2-0 in front of a rather pro-Mexico crowd at FC Dallas Stadium. A 5 minute double salvo late in the first half from Juan Agudelo and Mix Diskerud(With a lot of help from Freddy Adu) clinched the win as the United States professionally saw out Mexico in the second half to secure the win. Mexico really never got going tonight, as they didn't really seriously threaten the United States goal all night.
Leap day turned out to be quite the positive day for US Soccer all around with the USMNT beating Italy 1-0 and the U23 squad beating Mexico 2-0. Were you out at FC Dallas Stadium tonight? Pablo Serna was and he snapped some fantastic photos of the match, exclusively for Big D Soccer.
