Because I had way too much time on my hands, here are the cumulative stats of the 10 preseason games so far. Interestingly, Bobby Warshaw has played the most minutes of anyone with 563 of the possible 900 minutes on the pitch. Andrew Wiedeman and Scott Sealy are tied for the pre-season golden boot with 5 goals, though using MLS rules, Wiede leads with three assists. Blas Perez sits second with four goals. I've got to say, it's troubling that for whatever circumstances, Ricardo Villar has only played 90 minutes so far in the preseason with less than two weeks until opening day.
One other note is Dallas is getting a huge amount of production from their right backs this pre-season. Zach Loyd, Alex Lee and Scott Gordon have combined for 6 assists on the 24 goals FCD has scored so far this spring. As I've said before, I don't know if Alex Lee makes this squad, but he's done a hell of a job not being content to sit and try not to screw anything up on the pitch.
