Remember those cryptic remarks I made a week or so ago about moves possibly coming that would make the you know what hit the fan?

According to Hartman's agent, Ron Waxman, FC Dallas has not offered(or not been able to come to terms) on a new contract with goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.

Hartman enjoyed a fantastic season in 2012, but his contract is recently expiring. You wonder if FC Dallas has decided that Richard Sanchez will be ready to take a starting role in 2014 and the FCD competition committee was not comfortable in offering Hartman multiple years, or if this is simply posturing by his agent.

Either way, it will be extremely interesting to see how this one plays out in the coming weeks ahead. The silly season has officially begun.
