FC Dallas scored 42 goals in 2012, tied for 12th most in MLS. They struggled mightily in the goal scoring department through the middle of the year as Brek Shea, David Ferreira and Blas Perez.

On the positive side, the only time FCD was shutout by a team not named the Los Angeles Galaxy was way back on July 7 against San Jose, so there is good reason to think the offense could be very very good next season.

I went ahead and put together a compilation of my pics for the six best goals of the year. While I'm sure there will be some controversy on the selections, I tried to combine a mix of timely goals with team goals and some spectacular individual efforts.
