MLS Awards Shortlist Released, Ferreira/Hedges Snubbed

Greg Bartram-US PRESSWIRE

MLS released the short list for their official awards today and only one FC Dallas player made the list.

With his heroic donation of bone marrow, Chris Seitz is a finalist for MLS W.O.R.K.S Humanitarian of the year, but unfortunately that's it for FCD.

Despite racking up 9 assists in half a season and pretty much single-handedly turning the FCD season around, David Ferreira did not make the final three of the Comeback Player of the Year Finalists.

Also, Austin Berry, Nick DeLeon and Darren Mattocks are the three finalists for Rookie of the Year leaving Matt Hedges out in the cold.
