In somewhat of a surprise, Brek Shea has been called up for the USMNT's do-or-die World Cup Qualifiers at Antigua & Barbuda/Guatemala this week.

The move comes as a bit of a shock after Shea was unable to play in FC Dallas' draw with Chivas USA on Sunday due to injury, however it remains to be seen if Shea is simply joining to be a part of the camp or if he will actually play a part in either of the matches.

The US takes on Antigua and Barbuda on Friday night at 6PM(BeIn Sport1) while hosting Guatemala in Kansas City on Tuesday night also at 6PM(ESPN2). The United States likely needs to win both matches if they want to move on to the final round of World Cup Qualifying.
