I said before the game that I had a bad feeling about this one and apparently I wasn't the only one.

Schellas Hyndman "could feel something wasn't right" as well before tonight's game and it turned out to ring true as Dallas let another lead slip in a 1-1 draw with Chivas USA.

For now, read my story for MLSsoccer.com about the match, let us know what you thought about it and tomorrow I'll have some thoughts.

FC DALLAS HEAD COACH – SCHELLAS HYNDMAN:
Thoughts on scoring early in the game::“I think we were lucky to get a point. We had opportunities to put them away. And I think part of the Achilles’ heel for Chivas is when they give up goals. When they give up a goal, they seem to give up more. For us, we just didn’t have it today. I don’t know if it’s the long season, if it’s the pressure, if it’s the stress. We just didn’t have a good day. And in fact, if it wasn’t for [goalkeeper] Kevin Hartman, we probably would have lost the game.”
Performance after half time: “I think what changed is we knew we weren’t playing well. We talked about it and we wanted to protect the goal. At the same time, we didn’t want to sit back because they have too many weapons. And when they brought in [Juan Pablo] Angel, it caused us a ton of problems. He’s not only a good player, but he creates good passes and holds the ball up well. He’s got such great decision-making. We didn’t have any answer for him. That’s why we brought in George John, because even though George is coming off an injury, we felt like if we get 75% of George, it may be a difference-maker. It’s just one of those days. As I said to the players, I don’t think anyone backed out today and didn’t give their best. It’s just that we had too many people that were off.”
On Hartman’s performance: “He was really outstanding. There was a lot of pressure on him. There were a lot of balls that were crossed in the air, then there were driven balls and there were shots at point range. And he did a fantastic job. He’s a player that has made FC Dallas a much better team.”
FC DALLAS GOALKEEPER – KEVIN HARTMAN
Thoughts on the game: “We were excited about the fact that we were able to get up so quickly and I think that if we would had earn the goals more then maybe Chivas would had hung their head but I think they felt that they had some good quality opportunities in first half and they felt that they were still in the game and continued to compete and really made it difficult to us.”
About making it to playoffs: “It’s frustrating because we needed the three points tonight to keep up with Vancouver. We just have to keep positive and keep an eye on Vancouver. Hope some results go our way and continue to work as hard as we can.”
Mentality going on last game: “Same it has been for the last 5 weeks. Unfortunately we put ourselves behind with results early in the year, some of the injuries we had, so every game is a must win and we’re going to need a little of help from Vancouver at this point.”
FC DALLAS MIDFIELDER – JULIAN DE GUZMAN
Thoughts on match: “It’s a big disappointment after we had a 1-nothing lead, I noticed fatigue was kicking in and we were becoming disorganized. The game was back and forth, we really didn’t have an opportunity to control the game the way we wanted.”
Mentality on points: “You need 3 points and whether it’s Chivas or San Jose. I think what killed us was the fatigue, the guys were just getting tired one by one and mentally we shut down at the key moments of the game.”
CHIVAS USA HEAD COACH – ROBIN FRASER:
Thoughts on the match: “It ended up being a very good performance and a good effort by the entire group. To give up the goal early was disappointing, a bit of miscommunication perhaps. As the game wore on we had some good stretches of possession and into the second half we turned a lot of that possession into very dangerous chances, which certainly we haven’t done often enough this year. In the end we scored a great goal, got a lot of people committed forward, a lot of the guys committed into the attack and we scored a great goal and obviously created several other chances. I’ve seen for so many years, Kevin Hartman pull off unbelievable saves and unfortunately today was one of those days for him again. This is one of the ends where you come away feeling very pleased and proud of the effort that the team put out. ”
On the team’s discussion during half time: “We talked about potential spaces that are available and certain things to look for. Certainly, Juan [Pablo Angel] came in and was very, very good in his first couple of touches. He had gotten himself and Miller [Bolaños] into very dangerous scoring chances and he was extremely sharp.”
On the goal: “It’s definite excitement, certainly based on the way we’ve been playing to that point. We felt like one could lead to another, which could lead to another and we could be in a position we want to be in. There was some relief, it’s nice to finally score a goal, it’s nice to finally play well at home. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the second one and really make it a good day for us. ”
CHIVAS USA MIDFIELDER– JORGE VILLAFAÑA:
Thoughts on the match: “I think we dominated the second half, we created more chances. We could have won the game, we had chances and we didn’t put them away.”
On the equalizer: “It was a play that started on the right with Miller [Bolaños], great run, great cross. The keeper touched it, I’m not sure if a defender touched it, but it bounced in the area and I just tapped it in. It meant a lot to score today, we haven’t scored in a lot of games and this goal gave us motivation to keep going forward. We showed heart and we did it for the team, we did it for this club. I’m proud to wear this jersey and I’m glad that I scored the goal.”
On the next two games: “We need to enjoy it and keep playing with heart.”
CHIVAS USA GOALKEEPER – DAN KENNEDY:
Thoughts on the match: “I thought we put in a really good performance. We went down one nothing and that’s never ideal, especially through the hard stretch that we’ve been in, but we fought back and we really were probably unlucky not to win that game.”
On stadium’s atmosphere after the equalizer: “You saw the stadium come to life.”
On the next two games: “It’s all about pride and playing spoilers. We need to go out and find a way to continue to fight for ourselves, our fans and our families. That’s what it’s about.”
