When I said to people at FCD practice yesterday that I thought Chivas USA would give Vancouver a tough go of things, I showed how little of Chivas USA I've watched this year.

Robin Fraser's side was just awful last night, losing 4-0 at Vancouver to move the Whitecaps five points clear of FC Dallas with two games left on their schedule.

The Vancouver win means Dallas must beat Chivas USA on Sunday if they want to have any chance at a playoff spot and it also means that Dallas probably needs at least 7 points to have a prayer at a playoff spot. This win for Vancouver wasn't unexpected, but it certainly highlights the magnitude of the two points FCD let slip in San Jose last Saturday night.

The silver lining for FC Dallas is that Chivas USA is clearly an awful team that is just playing out the string and if they put in a professional performance, they should win both games against the goats.
