George John loan deal to West Ham nearly complete
Looks like GJ will get a kind of on-the-job trial with the Hammers. Hopefully he does well enough to warrant a nice transfer fee before the window closes.

that said he may go for a 2 month loan (ala Henry) until the deal can be completed.
I’d like to think this of being a way for John to get some “face” time with English clubs but be able to backdoor his way out of West Ham if they somehow fail to not get promoted. I can’t fathom how he can think to stay in MLS with epl dreams coming so close to fruition, I can only wish him the best in the future, as long as he’s not playing against the gunners.
