FCD to Play Three Games on Mexican Trip

Tomorrow, FC Dallas takes their first trip of the pre-season, heading down to Mexico for a week-long stay that ushers in the serious beginning of training ahead of the March 11 opener. Dallas will play three games in the 7 day stay including a match against the Red Bulls squad they will face in less than 6 weeks time on NBC Sports Network.

Thursday, Feb. 2 Friday, Feb. 3
vs. Playa del Carmen – 5 PM Training day

Saturday, Feb. 4 Sunday, Feb. 5
vs. Atlante U-23 – 5 PM Training Day

Monday, Feb. 6 Tuesday, Feb. 7
vs. Red Bull NY – 5 PM Training Day

Wednesday, Feb. 8
Return to DFW

Any chance of MLS consolidating the pre-season training of all clubs into one location?

not all of them

5 MLS clubs (including FCD) are in the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic. I think I remember quite a few clubs going to AZ for a week or two last year as well. Disney’s tourney is annual, but I’m not sure if AZ will be a regular preseason destination.
