For the 13th time this season, FC Dallas scored the first goal through Marvin Chavez's wonderful 9th minute strike. For the first time this season, Dallas went on to lose after scoring the first goal as they would get beaten on three set pieces losing 3-1 in a tough loss to Los Angeles. With the loss, Dallas falls 6 points behind LA in the race for the Supporter's Shield.
Tough one to swallow and terrible timing too as RSL and Seattle both won as well. Not a great night in the FC Dallas world.

Michael Kennedy He was just not good tonight. He never seemed to get control of the game and gave every 50-50 call to Los Angeles. A frustrating night from the man in the middle.
Maicon Santos I thought he was excellent in the first 30 minutes, of course his assist on the Chavez goal was a great touch but he also did a good job holding the ball up and finding the open man. Unfortunately he faded and didn't make good decisions in the second half, but I thought it was a solid debut from him.
What did you see tonight?
