Zach Loyd Added To USMNT Roster For Mexico Friendly
Let's add one more FC Dallas player to the list of players called up for next week's US-Mexico friendly. New manager Jurgen Klinsmann has announced that FC Dallas defender Zach Loyd has been called up to the US National Team in place of injured defender Tim Chandler.
Loyd will join the team following the LA Galaxy game tomorrow evening. He and Brek Shea will fly to Philadelphia to be apart of the Mexico friendly on Wednesday August 10.
This marks the second call up in Loyd's career. He was apart of the team that faced Chile back in January of this year.
Congrats Zach!

Allianzia (sp) game
I was just watching a bit of this game after the USMNT roster was announced and dealing w/ my homer indignation at Zach, Ugo, and John not getting called up when I saw Loyd get absolutely turned and left by an opposing player. I thought then that Zach might need some more time to hone those skills.
That being said, Congrats to Zach and I know that he will make us proud. I know that after the long run of constant games that the FCD heads might not always be 100%. One CCL miscue does not ruin a career.
Grats Zack!
Good to see him called in! Timmy is very good and for Zack to be the next call at leans means FCD guys are being noticed.

Yeah, as you guys have said...
Zach gets burned now and again but he’s usually pretty solid, and he can play out of the back really well. He’s really young and has lots of time to learn, his ceiling seems pretty high. Love the kid.

No worries
Will never get beat on a 50-50 and only needs to figure out the fake shot/drag move that henry and the alianza player beat him on. Congrats to one of my fave fcd players…
