FC Dallas Opens 2012 Season On March 11

FC Dallas will kick off their 17th season in Major League Soccer on March 11, 2012. The opponent are expected to announced by the end of this year. The full season schedule is also expected to be out in early January.
MLS announced the full list of home openers for all 19 clubs today, including the home debut of the Montreal Impact and the inaugural game in the new Houston Dynamo Stadium.

WEEK 1
Saturday, March 10: Colorado Rapids, DC United, Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, Seattle Sounders FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Sunday, March 11: Chivas USA, FC Dallas
Monday, March 12: Portland Timbers
WEEK 2
Saturday, March 17: Sporting Kansas City, Montreal Impact, Real Salt Lake
Sunday, March 18: Philadelphia Union
WEEK 3
Saturday, March 24: Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, New England Revolution, Toronto FC
Sunday, March 25: New York Red Bulls
WEEK 10
Saturday, May 12: Houston Dynamo (new stadium opener)

We know it won’t be vs Colorado, DC, LA, San Jose, Seattle, Vancouver, Chivas or Portland.
So it’s FCD vs Sporting/Montreal/RSL/Philly/Chicago/Columbus/NE/Toronto/NY/Houston

Probably Chicago or Houston….or Philly. Someone that will draw well in the opener.

would hate to see our one regular season match against them go down before either side has a chance to test and tweak the lineups after offseason changes.
