No real shocker as today was not only the Expansion Draft but also the Waiver day for MLS clubs. Teams submitted their list of waived players after the Expansion Draft. FC Dallas waived only one player (I know, some of you wish it were more than just one), Edson Edward.

Edward sat out all of 2011 with a ACL injury. He had surgery for the injury back in February. Most figured he wasn't even a shoe-in to make the team roster in 2011 but the season-ending injury kept him on the roster all year. 

We wish Edson nothing but the best in his future endeavors here. I'd hope to see some USL or NASL side take a chance at this kid.
