It's not quite the off season yet, but the hot stove is starting to heat up in the FC Dallas world and we have our first two names to be linked to joining the squad in 2012. A report out of Panama has linked Dallas with Tauro FC defenders Luis Moreno and Carlos Rodriguez. 

Moreno and Rodriguez suited up for Tauro in both CCL matchups against FCD with Moreno scoring in both games. "Lucho" Moreno would certainly be the bigger name of the two as he has been a mainstay of the Panama backline in recent years playing on both the right and in the center of defense. It's not really surprising to see Moreno's name linked with FC Dallas as he was extremely impressive in the 1-1 draw in Frisco. Rodriguez is currently with the Panama U-23 side trying to qualify for the Olympics. Two names to track as we head into 2012. 

The other big news of the day involves the absence of Maykel Galindo and Fabian Castillo at the final FC Dallas practice of the year this morning. There's a few other nuggets of information in there that you'll have to click the link to find out.

It's obviously very disappointing to see this, though I guess if you have to skip one practice make it the last one. Castillo is probably in the Schellas dog house right now and will need to come back strong in 2012 pre-season.
